| Im looking to sell my Fender Blacktop Stratocaster, Made in Mexico. This is the first real (Not piece of crap) guitar I've owned, and after having played for a while, I have a more specific want in a guitar. This Strat is fantastic condition. The body is still mint, as is the neck and fretboard. The only blemish on the guitar is in the expected spot, lightscuffing on the pickguard. There is also slight oxidation on the nickel plated pickups (Which can be cleaned with a cheap bottle of metal polish, plenty of threads on guitar forums where people say what kinds of cleaner they use. Just search for cleaning nickel pickup. ). It's part of the expected wear and tear of metal covered pickups. I always keep this guitar in temperature controlled rooms, free of smoke, and always in a gig bag (Included, missing zipper on front pocket) when not being played. The price is firm at $400. Im also willing to trade for a Fender Stratocaster HSS (aka, Fat Strat), with a Maple Neck, and all the trim to be chrome plated (Dont like the gold plated stuff). With either a white or pearl inlay pick guard. Pretty specific, but as stated, Im now trying to get the exact guitar I want, color and setup. If traded, gig bag will not be included (I would think that would be expected, as Im sure we would both bring the guitars in either a case or a bag, and since it's strat for strat, if you bring a hard case, this would obviously fit just fine) Go to this website to check the colors Id be looking for in a trade - http://www.guitarstop.com/Fender/colorchart.htm Colors - 02, 03, 04, 19, 29, 59, 62, 72, 73, 80, 83 As you can tell, Im a big fan of blue. The only two colors in there I wouldnt mind that arent a variation of blue, are Arctic White, and Sunburst. Id prefer one of the blues though.
